Zoologist Sergey Kolchin has spent years rehabilitating orphaned bear cubs in the forests of the Russian Far East, preparing them for a return to the wild. Living alongside the cubs, he uncovered new insights into the elusive Asiatic black bear and captured remarkable footage of their lives. Journey into the rare, still-intact forests of the Ussuri taiga through the eyes of these young bears, as they learn to survive alongside tigers and brown bears. But as human activity destroys their habitat and poaching threatens their future, survival in this mysterious wilderness is becoming increasingly uncertain.
