As the only wildlife film festival in the Netherlands, WFFR plays a major role in bringing together wildlife film professionals from home and abroad. The festival is an inspiring meeting place and a platform for new talent.

During the WFFR Industry Days, filmmakers and other film professionals can meet in an approachable way to share their own experiences and learn from expert knowledge. The perfect place to get inspired, get answers to practical questions, expand your circle of film friends and expand your professional network.

The programme consists of various activities, from pitch sessions to networking drinks and from round table discussions to workshops. WFFR tackles a range of issues, with the content being driven by the predominant themes in the industry.

The WFFR Industry Days will be held on 3 & 4 November 2023 and is a vibrant international meeting place that attracts both experienced professionals and enthusiastic beginners. In 2022, more than 70 delegates participated. We welcome wildlife film professionals from all around the world to join us at the WFFR Industry Days ’23.

On Saturday evening, 4 November 2023, the WFFR Flamingo Awards will be presented. Many hundreds of films from around the world are entered into the WFFR Flamingo Competition. WFFR is honoring outstanding achievements in ten different award categories. Previous winners include My Octopus Teacher (2020) and Wolf (2022). 

WFFR will announce its official programme of the WFFR Industry Days on 1 September 2023. From then on it is possible to register as a delegate.
