The Pitch Sessions will take place on Friday afternoon, November 6, 2026. Registration opens on June 15, 2026 via the form below (visible from that date) and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. There is space for a maximum of 10 pitches. The deadline to apply is October 1, 2026.
On Friday, November 6, 2026, selected professionals will have the opportunity to pitch their concept or production proposal, receive valuable feedback, and initiate new collaborations. The Pitch Sessions are therefore not only a platform for creative ideas, but also a springboard toward financing, co-productions, and international distribution.
You will have 5 minutes to present your (planned or ongoing) project. It is important to clearly articulate what you are looking for — for example in terms of financing, co-production partners, distribution, or editorial feedback.
After each pitch, there will be 5 to 10 minutes for questions and feedback from the audience. Afterwards, participants are welcome to continue conversations and exchange contact details in the foyer.
The Pitch Sessions are designed to support (emerging) wildlife filmmakers in developing and realizing new or existing projects. Nature organizations planning to develop a film in which nature and biodiversity are central themes are also welcome to participate.
Would you like to pitch your project in Rotterdam? Then register via the form below no later than October 1, 2026. After receiving your application, we will contact you as soon as possible regarding selection and the further planning of your pitch.
Participation in the Pitch Sessions requires a WFFR Industry Day Pass or an invitation from the WFFR organization.
